This is a movie that showed up on one of the top 10 lists of 2011 (can’t remember which site) and I can completely understand why. The story is a classic one of a fugitive trying to get away from the bad guys while at the same time trying to find out why things went wrong and trying to get them right. Second Headhunters Trailer Aksel Hennie and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau star in this adaptation of Jo Nesbo's novel about a headhunter who tries to steal a valuable painting. It also offers some laughs because of the absurd situations Roger ends up in.

They feel realistic and part of the story, but it’s nice to be warned about them. It’s also a movie that has a couple of graphic scenes that might have the faint of heart turning their head away. As a viewer you are taken along for the ride and slowly uncover what the hell Roger has gotten himself into. It looks great and has some nice set pieces and action sequences that will have you on the edge of your seat. It is not a job without risks and when one of them doesn’t go as planned Roger doesn’t seem to be safe anymore.Īlthough this is a Norwegian movie it feels like an American one. While he has a day job as a headhunters trying to find the right person for a CEO position he also steals paintings in order to be able to make sure he keeps his wife happy and is able to pay for his expensive villa. If there is demand there are always willing to help in supplying what they want and Roger Brown (Aksel Hennie) is the man for the job. 2012 3.9 71 Ratings Roger (Aksel Hennie) is a man who seems to have it all: he is Norway’s most successful Headhunter, married to the beautiful gallery-owner Diana, owns a magnificent villa but living larger than he should. The art world is an interesting one where people are willing to pay big money just because it is widely loved.
